Part-time Faculty, Political Science
Teach a range of legal courses, (e.g., law and society and state and local government) with a preference for expertise in how legal systems work, and how legal processes and laws affect society entirely.
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be made at YSU's main location in Youngstown, Ohio, the Steubenville, Ohio location, or for remote courses.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum Qualifications: An earned master's degree in political science or law; able to teach constitutional law, government (local/state/federal level), and other theoretical classes; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience, in-person and online. Residency in Ohio, PA, and West Virginia for online or face-to-face instruction.
