Employees are not directly employed by Chick-Fil-A. Assignments could include but are not limited to: the dish room, kitchen, vegetable preparation area, food prep, serving areas, dining rooms, cashiering, food bagging and order expediting. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to learn procedures and practices for food handling, sanitation, cleanliness; provide exemplary customer service to all customers; use food service equipment and utensils; use computer cash register; understand and follow written and oral instructions. Basic math skills for recipe and quantity control. Working effectively with other employees and customers. Demonstrated good attendance record and customer service skills. Must follow basic dress code as established by branded concepts and hygiene standards set by University Dining. Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills. Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. May be required to work in cold storage areas. May be required to have a valid driver's license to drive university van, box truck or motorized skid. Successful interview and completion of three background checks. Preferred Qualifications: Six months food service experience. Fast food experience. Chick-fil-A experience a plus. Essential Functions: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance; move over 40 lbs. using standard food service industry carts; stand for long lengths of time; work in cold storage areas for extended periods of time; have a valid driver's license to drive university van, box truck or motorized skid; perform basic math skills; understand written directions; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
