We are committed to growing, learning, and supporting our employees. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Memorize scripts for scenarios. Arrive prepared, 30-60 minutes earlier than the time they are scheduled to start the scenarios. Portray role as scripted in a realistic manner and with input or cues from simulation faculty facilitators. As a collaborative part of the simulation team, provide input into scenario details and portrayal. Receive feedback and use feedback to improve performance. Maintain confidentiality of all case material and student performance information. Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance. Communicate clearly and portray professionalism. Perform related duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas: Excellent communication skills. Ability to provide effective feedback. Capacity to receive feedback. Must exhibit good attendance. Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. Previous experience and/or training as an actor, standardized patient or simulation participant preferred.
