Part Time Instructor - Animation
Job Description
Nevada State University actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs in animation. We are seeking instruction in 2D hand-drawn animation, 3D animation, storyboarding, and traditional animation methods. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Courses are typically 3 credits.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in animation or a closely related field.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Previous production experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Animate and After Effects, or with Blender and Unreal Engine.
