Part - Time Instructor, Slot Technology - FY 2026
Job Description
Responsibilities of a Part-Time Slot Technology Instructor include but are not limited to:
- Lecture and/or lab instruction for Slot Technology courses, including slot machine systems, electronics, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate and assist students with hands-on lab procedures related to slot machines and electronic gaming equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety precautions
- Develop syllabi and course materials; instruct students in accordance with established curriculum standards, industry practices, and program objectives
- Independently evaluate student mastery of technical skills and competencies aligned with course outcomes; implement strategies to support student learning needs
- Provide advisement to students regarding academic progression and career pathways within the gaming and electronics industry
- Maintain and support laboratory equipment, including slot machines and associated electronic systems, to ensure effective instructional delivery
- Attend staff meetings and participate in recruitment and outreach activities as requested
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of work-related experience OR Applied Science degree in Engineering Technologies or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University
- 1-year full time teaching experience
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
