Part-time Lecturer: Economics
NYU Prague is seeking a Lecturer to teach Economics of Global Business, an in-person, core Stern School of Business course, beginning in Spring 2026. This course provides students with a framework for understanding the international macroeconomic environment in which firms operate. The course explores topics such as economic growth, exchange rates, international capital flows, fiscal and monetary policy, trade balances, and the impact of globalization on business strategy and performance. The lecturer will be responsible for delivering rigorous and engaging lectures, guiding class discussions, designing and grading exams and assignments, and supporting students in developing analytical tools to evaluate economic conditions across different countries and regions. Responsibilities also include holding office hours, fostering an inclusive and intellectually challenging classroom environment, and maintaining NYU’s high academic standards.
Candidates should hold an advanced degree in economics or a related field, have demonstrated experience teaching macroeconomics or international economics at the undergraduate level, and possess the ability to engage a diverse and international student body.
