EDU 4465EEF Methodology in English Language Teaching

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

• Teaching classes on weekdays during daytime on campus;
• Assisting in the revision of teaching and learning materials, and providing consultations to students; and
• Marking assignments and examination paper.

English is the medium of instruction for the course. The appointee shall be required to teach a maximum of eight hours per week during weekdays daytime on campus in the face-to-face mode and/or online between September 2026 and May 2027.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A postgraduate qualification in Education and/or English Language Teaching;
• Familiar with the contemporary English language teaching methodologies
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in primary/secondary schools.

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
