Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Planning, organizing and supporting student community engagement and service-learning programmes to create learning experiences that integrate students' knowledge with social responsibility. This includes communication with community partners, trainers and students for various activities;
- Developing and cultivating valuable student community engagement and service-learning opportunities for students;
- Evaluating the effectiveness and performing administrative duties of various student programmes;
- Creating and implementing promotion and communication plans for the target audience;
- Handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external parties; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Occasionally travelling outside Hong Kong and working outside normal office hours and weekends as required.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized degree;
- Relevant experience in coordinating student community engagement, service-learning or youth development programme is an advantage;
- Passionate about youth work and/or student affairs;
- Proficient in data analysis and student programme evaluation;
- Self-motivated, well-organized, work independently, detail-minded and a good team player;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
