"Part-time Lecturer(s) in Applied Data Science/Game Design (two vacancies)"

The Department of Applied Data Science (ADS) at Hong Kong Shue Yan University invites applications for the position of part-time lecturer to support teaching in the BSc (Hons) in Applied Data Science, BSc (Hons) in Digital Solutions for Entertainment and Game Applications (BSc-DSEGA), MSc in Game Development and Management (MSc-GDM), and University General Education Programmes.

Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate or postgraduate courses related to data science, programming, game design, or game development;

Develop course materials, assessments, and support student learning; and

Contribute to maintaining academic quality and programme development where appropriate.

Requirements:

A Master’s degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Game Design, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a closely related discipline;

Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level;

Industry experience in data science, computer programming, game design and development, or game programming; and

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students in both theoretical and practical learning.
