Duties
We invite applications to lecture or tutor in core courses e.g. Administrative Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity & Trusts, Company Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Sale of Goods (International and Domestic), and maritime law-related courses. The School is also open to proposals to create new elective courses that reflect the applicant’s area of expertise. Duties may be carried out during daytime or in the evening.
Requirements
Minimum of an LLB or JD degree plus substantial experience as a barrister, solicitor or in-house counsel. Commitment to cultivating the next generation of lawyers is required. Experience in teaching at the tertiary level is preferred.
For appointment to lecturing responsibilities, a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience is required.
For appointment to tutoring responsibilities, a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience is required.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in February/March 2026.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
