Kicking Horse Ford has an exciting opportunity for a career-orientated individual to join our team as a Parts Consultant. This role is the main point of contact in working with our customers and technicians to locate automotive parts they require. The successful candidate can expect to earn $21.63 to $26.44 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Do as a Parts Consultant:
- Work with customers in selecting and locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Order parts and provide information including their function, prices, application, and warranty
- Research the availability of parts either within the dealership or from other sources as necessary
- Maintain effective communication with the service and sales departments, keeping them informed of the status of parts on order
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Perform regular parts inventory counts
- Assist the Parts Department with other duties as required
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous parts experience in the automotive industry or a related industry is preferred
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen and use tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
- High attention to detail and comfort in using technology for most day-to-day functions
- Ability to perform physical work, which includes repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
- A valid Driver’s License
Compensation details: 21.63-26.44 Hourly Wage
