"Patient Care Technician"

TITLE: Patient Care Technician

SHIFT: Evenings (8 hours)

TIME: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

HOLIDAYS: Work 3 holidays per year

• Provides moderate to complex assistance to pediatric patients.
• Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical requirements: This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patient.

• Reasonable knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in patient care activities.
• CNA certificate.
• Experience in patient-facing work.
• Pediatric patient experience.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
