Reviewing payroll adjustments and analyzing pay transaction ensuring accurate entry and validation of payline changes Maintaining compliance in data integrity across systems Reviewing transactions for compliance and advise on onboarding documentation as well as position management changes Reviewing and executing campus system requests for hires/rehires Resolving payroll support requests Other payroll responsibilities as needed Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Four years of payroll experience, two years of which must have included knowledge of State and Federal Payroll Regulations Note: Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. Must be able to recognize and know the purpose of standardized forms required for payroll (I-9, W-4, etc.), perform accurate math computations and remain poised and courteous under pressure, handle a high level of confidential & sensitive payroll issues, and be a team player with a strong sense of ownership & commitment to excellence. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of PeopleSoft helpful. Background Screening Statement: A background check will be required.
