Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Join the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. We are seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join (Assistant or Associate Professor) our elite pediatric emergency team. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience. The department is staffed by pediatric emergency medicine specialists, pediatricians with many years of experience in pediatric emergency medicine, a nurse practitioner, a clinical pharmacy specialist and pediatric nurses with most certified in Pediatric Emergency medicine.
Features:
- Twenty single-bed patient care rooms and two additional resuscitation bays.
- Provide family-centered, compassionate and high-quality care to children from birth to 21 years of age with multisystem illness and trauma
- Full service general pediatric beds and separate pediatric emergency unit
- 24 hours per day, seven days a week
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or dually trained and Board Certified in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine
- Recruiting a faculty member with established excellence in teaching, administration, patient care, and/or independently funded research
- Must demonstrate excellence as a clinician-educator.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Expected Salary Range; Assistant Professor $150,900 Associate Professor $290,803. The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.
