The Department of Radiology at Stanford University and Stanford Children’s Health seeks a pediatric radiologist. This is a full-time position and will be open rank in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The applicant must have an M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) or equivalent, must be board-certified or board-eligible in clinical specialty, and must have completed a formal clinical training or equivalent training/experience. Positions can be flexibly tailored to match clinical/research/leadership expertise and interests.

A full range of primary through quaternary services is provided across 65 locations and with over 500,000 annual patient visits. With over 150 specialties, Stanford Children’s has multiple centers of emphasis: include Brain and Behavior, Cancer, Heart, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Pulmonary Biology, Pregnancy and Newborn Services, Transplant. Pediatric Radiology and Stanford Children’s Health are currently undergoing significant expansion. Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) at Stanford has state-of-the-art imaging equipment and is located on the world-class Stanford University campus, creating an unparalleled academic environment and close interactions with a variety of students and disciplines.

Specialty #1: Pediatric Radiology
Assistant Professor: $426,000 - $444,000
Associate Professor: $459,000 - $477,000
Full Professor: $497,000 - $524,000

Specialty #2: Pediatric Interventional Radiology
Assistant Professor: $451,000 - $469,000
Associate Professor: $484,000 - $502,000
Full Professor: $522,000 - $549,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
