  • 4 weeks annual leave + 5 days university holidays

  • Salary – Band 5 ($95,784 - $116,911)

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Join UC as a People & Culture Reporting Analyst and help shape the future of HR and payroll reporting. In this role, you’ll deliver high quality, actionable insights that support decision making across the university. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, enhance reporting systems, and improve the accuracy, usability, and automation of HR and payroll data.

When you first commence in this role, you will initially work directly with the UC Workday project team to develop and refine HR and payroll reports across Workday, aPay, and other systems. You will also liaise and work closely with the People and Culture team to ensure that the reporting functionality is fit for purpose. Once reporting is developed and live in UC Workday, you will work directly in the People and Culture team analysing trends, providing insights and streamlining manual reports into automated solutions.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have extensive experience in reporting, analytics, or data roles. You will make good use of your sound and proven experience with data warehousing concepts and reporting tools (Power BI is a bonus). Your excellent communication skills and ability will translate needs from our stakeholders into technical requirements. It would be beneficial if you have a prior understanding of HR and/or payroll environments.
