We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our People Operations team on a fixed-term basis until September 2026, supporting a range of key HR projects.
This is a busy time for our team, so we’re looking for adaptable individuals who are comfortable working across different areas as needed. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a positive impact, this role could be a great fit.
As a People Operations Assistant you can expect to be involved in:
- Provide administrative support to key HR projects.
- Personally deal with straightforward HR enquiries, applying confidentiality, tact and discretion where necessary.
- Develop and build knowledge of all University conditions of service, contractual entitlements, and processes.
- Update and maintain the HR and Payroll system (ResourceLink).
What will you bring to the role?
- Educated to A-level with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Experience in an office environment
- Good IT skills with the ability to use MS Office applications; particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
