Role Overview

In this role, the Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work as an Orthopedic Surgical Consult APP to support the Orthopedic Oncology Surgical Service. This position will be primary coverage of the consult pager during overnight and weekend shifts. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and be the driving force behind patient-centered care. Key Qualifications

PA:

• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred
• BLS certification/ACLS certification

OR

NP:

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses with ability to treat pediatric patients
• Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification
• Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience is preferred
• BLS certification/ACLS certification

More Information

• Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
• Hours: 12 hour per diem shifts flexed as needed. Week nights (overnight shift), weekend (day and night shifts), and holiday coverage
• Reports to: Manager, APP
• Pay Rate: $88/hr.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $170.00
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
