The project will enable reliable technology transfer, accelerate time to market, and improve manufacturing robustness, supporting animal health outcomes and reducing environmental impact.
This role is company-based and will be delivered in collaboration with the School of Pharmacy at Queen’s.
The successful candidate will become part of the R&D team within Norbrook Laboratories. About The Person
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Masters-level qualification in Pharmaceutical or Chemical or Process Engineering or a closely-related engineering-based discipline (MEng or equivalent).
- Relevant demonstrable experience and demonstrable knowledge of chemical engineering principles to include mixing, fluid flow, hydrodynamics and scale-up methodology*
- Demonstrable knowledge of development and application of data modelling techniques, including statistical and hybrid approaches, to aid analysis of complex manufacturing datasets*
- Demonstrable knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and unit operations, including characterisation.
*may be demonstrated through the completion of a module, student project or placement.
Applicants must adequately evidence how they have gained relevant experience/knowledge/skills in detail, using examples and dates where appropriate to demonstrate that they meet these requirements. It is not sufficient to simply list duties/skills/modules/assignment titles as evidence.
