Classification Title: Temporary-Clerical

Working Title: Pharmacist

Work Schedule: TBD, (Saturdays, and weekdays as needed)

Minimum Experience/Education: Current enrollment or completion of a two year pharmacy technician training program. Prefer experience working in a veterinary pharmacy in a veterinary teaching hospital.

Department Required Skills: Competency in inpatient cartfill, outpatient prescription filling, sterile and non-sterile compounding. Omnicell maintenance, and pharamcy drug pre0packing. Ability to complete veterinary prescription orders. Good customer service Good computer skills

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Prefer previous working experience in a veterinary pharmacy.

Required License or Certification: Current enrollment in or successful completion of a two year pharmacy technology associate program with eligibility for CphT certification.

Valid NC Driver's License required?: No

Commercial Driver's License Required?: No

Anticipated Hiring Range: $50 - $60.00/hr
