The Opportunity
Join UniSC Clinical Trials as a Pharmacy Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and compliant management of Investigational Products (IP). In this key position, you’ll oversee all IP-related activities, ensuring strict adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines, HREC-approved protocols, UniSC CTC Standard Operating Procedures, and all relevant regulations. Your expertise will help drive the success of cutting-edge clinical research while upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance. Please note, this role requires flexibility to travel to different clinical trial sites as needed, and to work outside standard business hours to support confinement studies and other time-sensitive trial activities. You may also be required to participate in a 24/7 on-call or confinement roster.

You will
- support the Pharmacy Manager with the management, storage and dispensing of Investigational Products (IP) within the UniSC Clinical Trials (UniSC CT) Pharmacy in accordance with a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approved protocol and Pharmacy manual, and other applicable guidelines and policies; and
- work collaboratively with the UniSC CT team, sponsors and monitors to ensure appropriate and timely management of all activities related to Investigational Product.

Your commitment to quality and keen attention to detail ensures that you deliver exceptional results. Whether working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, you thrive in dynamic settings and consistently contribute to team success.
You will possess:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with clinical research experience (preferred, but not essential);
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Good working knowledge of clinical research, ICHGCP, and the basics of drug development (preferred, but not essential); and
- Well-developed computing skills, including databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
