Qualification Requirements
General entry requirements:
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Completed a second-cycle (Master’s) degree
- Completed ≥240 higher education credits, with ≥60 credits at the second cycle
- Equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or abroad
Specific entry requirements:
- Completed ≥90 credits in Finance (or equivalent), including an independent thesis of ≥15 credits
Selection Criteria
Eligible candidates will be assessed based on:
- Performance in previous higher education studies
- Performance in independent written reports and theses
- GRE General Test score (mandatory; department code 0008)
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
- Letters of recommendation
About the Position
- Start date: 1 September 2026
- Employment type: Fixed-term doctoral student position under Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100)
- Duration: Up to 4 years full-time
- Workload: Primarily devoted to doctoral studies; up to 20% may include teaching, research, or administrative duties
- Renewal: Employment is renewed annually (maximum 2 years at a time)
