Applications are invited for this new post.
This new post will develop and lead the delivery of all aspects of physical examination skills teaching in the Cambridge Clinical Course. The postholder will work with the curriculum and assessment teams to maximise alignment between course intended learning outcomes, teaching and assessment of physical examination.
This post is 1PA/week (0.1wte). This is a three-year secondment, with the possibility of renewal for further periods of three years thereafter. If the successful applicant is a GP, successful appointment would be on a fractional contract with the Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine. The work will involve a mixture of in-person meetings at the Clinical School and remote working.
All candidates for the post should hold full GMC registration, a license to practice and substantive NHS appointment as a Consultant doctor or a General Practitioner in the Eastern region, delivering patient-facing care that requires regular use of physical examination skills.
