Physician Hospitalist - Thomas

The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements.

WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group) is actively recruiting a full-time Hospitalist Physician, at Thomas Health System in Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV.

Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
