Physician Specialist (Multiple Vacancies)

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Physician Specialist for the department of Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Physician Specialist will augment inpatient clinical care while engaging in the teaching and supervision of residents and students at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Serves as Chief Resident of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Internal Medicine Residency Program and augment inpatient clinical care while engaging in the teaching and supervision of residents and students at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
• Participates in the educational, patient care, research, and other activities of the Department of Medicine.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Medical degree (MD/DO).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing. No special vision requirements.
• Work Environment: Moderate noise.
