Physician Specialist Per Diem

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has opening for a Physician Specialist Per Diem for the Clinical Research and Occupational Medicine Division within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, located in Piscataway, NJ. The primary purpose of the Physician Specialist Per Diem position is to provide specialized clinical care and consultations for patients in the Department. This is an onsite position.

• Evaluates and manages patients with complex medical problems.
• Provides direct clinical care to patients.
• Develops, implements and evaluates plans of treatment.
• Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) for patient treatment and documentation.
• Consults with other attending physicians regarding patient care.
• May supervise medical personnel.
