Job Description:

• Support the education of future teachers through professional placements.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and placement providers.
• 2 x part-time (0.4 FTE) appointments, one on an ongoing basis and one fixed term until August 2026.
• Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity

• Coordinate and support professional placement opportunities for students in the Graduate School of Education.
• Act as the key liaison between students, academic staff, and placement organisations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of placement procedures and ensure compliance with University policies.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
