Position Introduction
The Poison Control Center Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for the Oklahoma Poison Control Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based poison information and patient care services. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center, supervising poison information pharmacist specialists and administrative personnel, managing budgets and staffing resources, and collaborating with leadership to support strategic initiatives, research, grants, and quality improvement efforts. The Manager serves as a resource for complex poisoning cases, promotes excellence in staff development and performance, and advances the Center's mission through education, poison prevention, policy development, and partnerships with healthcare providers, public health agencies, and the community. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and exceptional service in support of the Oklahoma Poison Control Center's mission.

Required Education and Experience
- PharmD Degree
- 24 months experience in Poison Control.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy in lieu of the PharmD Degree.
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Pharmacist licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- Diplomate of the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT)
- Oklahoma Preceptor's License by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or ability to obtain within one year of hire date.
