Post Doc
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to strengthen its research in chemoinformatics-supported medicinal chemistry for the design and synthesis of potential drug candidates and is seeking a Ph.D scientist with expertise in these fields. We are a dedicated and internationally leading team offering a creative working atmosphere, flexible working hours, and an adequate starting salary. The position is initially limited until 17.11.2025 and can be extended for the duration of the employee's absence.
Your future tasks:
- You plan and conduct your own research projects in the field of computer-assisted drug design.
- You publish your research findings in English-language journals.
- You support ongoing research projects in the department with your expertise.
- You independently hold courses in accordance with the collective regulations.
This is part of your personality:
- Completed doctoral/PhD studies in the field of chemistry, pharmacy and similar fields
- Excellent knowledge in computer-aided drug design and medicinal chemistry
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- IT skills (e.g., programming skills)
- Knowledge in Computational Medicinal Chemistry, Chemoinformatics, and Molecular Modeling
- Excellent knowledge of English (C1)
- Team player and high social/communicative skills
- High resilience Ability to deliver presentations and publications in English or to comprehend them.
