Post-Doctoral Associate/Associate Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) - Dr. Michail Maniatakos

The Center for Cyber Security (https://sites.nyuad.nyu.edu/ccs-ad/) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate / Associate Research Scientist to conduct studies in cyber security, focusing on systems security and privacy. Applicants with a PhD (or expected) with publications in top conferences such as USENIX, NDSS, CSS, and S&P are encouraged to apply. Terms of employment include competitive salary and benefits.

Research in the Cyber Security center relevant to this position focuses on the three tracks below (the cover letter should mention which track the application is for, otherwise it will be rejected):

1. Privacy-preserving computation using Fully Homomorphic Encryption
2. Industrial Control Systems security
3. Machine learning security and privacy

Responsibilities of the position include performing research in system security, submitting publications in top cyber security conferences and journals, reviewing for top conferences, and mentoring junior researchers.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline, with no more than 5 years post receipt of their PhD. The ideal candidate will have stellar publication record with papers appearing in top security conferences, including USENIX, NDSS, CCS, and S&P.
