Research Description:

Position will require the development and application of numerical codes modeling the nonlinear interactions between planetary magnetospheres and ionospheres.

Job Descriptions:

85% Research

15% Communicating research results to the community through the presentation of results at scientific meetings and publication of results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Required Ph.D. in Physics or Astrophysics by beginning date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the development and application of numerical codes to problems of space plasma physics in solar system environments.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $61,008 - $75,190; depending on education/qualifications/experience
