Post-Doctoral Associate - Physics Education Research (Hanany)
This research is related to the integration of computation into the undergraduate physics curriculum. The post-doc will interview students and faculty, conduct surveys, and analyze these to measure whether the integration of computation is achieving its goals and whether it is being embedded in the organization structure of the School of Physics and Astronomy.
Job Duties: 80% research, analysis, and dissemination of results to the collaboration and the science community; 15% staying abreast of developments in the field; 5% other occasional tasks as required by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: PhD in Physics, Astrophysics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with research in physics education or education-related topics.
