Advertised Job Summary
The postdoctoral fellow will, in collaboration with the principal investigator, devote their time to providing leadership in research on NIH-funded studies focused on the early detection of autism and autonomic dysfunction in high-risk infants and children using multiple behavioral and physiological developmental indicators. This individual will assist with recruiting participants, organizing and providing training, conducting assessments, writing manuscripts, and grant applications, conducting relevant literature reviews, and making professional presentations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in area of research specialty prior to the start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree prior to the start date in school, clinical, or experimental psychology or a related discipline, as well as advanced clinical and research training.
- In-depth training in developmental assessment with infants and/or young children and their families is required and autism diagnostics is preferred.
- Reliability on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule
