Post-doctoral Fellow
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536281), to commence as soon as possible for a period one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage research projects on haematolymphoid neoplasms and related diseases, including experiments involving clinical samples, cell lines and in-vivo models, as well as statistical analyses
- Discover and characterize novel biomarkers and drug targets in lymphoid neoplasms
- Assist in supervising research postgraduate students
- Participate in collaborative projects on haematolymphoid diseases with partner medical/research institutions
- Prepare research papers, grant applications and other administrative tasks related to research projects
- Undertake other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences or related discipline, preferably with experience in cancer biology, cell culture, flow cytometry and in-vivo models
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Self-driven, meticulous and highly motivated
