"Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF)"

The Post-Doctoral Fellowship is designed to support high-quality research by scholars holding a doctoral degree and an outstanding academic record. IIM Indore PDF in management aims to identify young, motivated individuals for research in different specializations of management. Fellows will conduct academic research jointly with a resident faculty member in their mutual area of interest and work with a faculty mentor.

Department: Strategic Management (SM) area

Faculty Mentor: Prof. Punyashlok Dwibedy

Proposed Area of Research: Product, Process and Business Model Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Quantitative Methods (Econometric modelling)

Duration: 1 year (can be renewed for a second term, max 2 years)

Eligibility: Successfully defended FPM/PhD (within 5 years of application) from a premier institute/university (excluding IIM Indore) with a minimum of 60% marks / 1st division in the master’s degree or degree immediately preceding PhD. Those who have submitted the thesis are also encouraged to apply.

Desirable: Minimum of “B” category (or above) publication in the journal list (ABDC or equivalent).

Stipend: Rs 60,000 per month (consolidated), Start-up fund: Rs 40,000 one-time (for attending conferences, buying computing devices), Publication incentive for high-quality journals.

Other facilities: Accommodation on campus (if available) at Rs. 3000 per month, Office-space (if available), Services available to other students (e.g., bus, internet, library, etc.).

Responsibilities: Teach at least a 4-credit course per year of tenure (1 credit = 6.25 hours), Expect at least one research article in an A (or above) category journal per year.
