Postdoc Manufacturing Control Sonicare (MARS) (1.0 FTE)
Job Summary
This postdoctoral position involves researching manufacturing control for Sonicare using machine learning to detect anomalies in assembly processes, reduce downtime, and improve production efficiency through AI integration for real-time anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.
Responsibilities
Develop intelligent process control strategies using machine learning techniques to identify sources of variation, track reliability, and promote continuous improvement in complex manufacturing systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, theoretical Physics, or related fields from top universities.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Julia, Matlab, C/C++.
- Strong knowledge and interest in Mathematics.
- Dynamic, creative attitude with problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written.
What the Employer Offers
- Salary of up to €4,060 gross per month for a full-time position.
- Holiday allowance of 8% gross annual income and 8.3% year-end bonus.
- Full-time contract (1.0 FTE) for 21 months, or 0.88 FTE for 24 months.
- Preferred starting date in January 2026.
