The selected applicant (F/M) will join a multinational team at the Research Unit MIR 'Mosquito Immune Responses' in the Institut de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire on the central campus of the University of Strasbourg. This project will be supervised by Dr. João Trindade Marques (group leader at Inserm U1257, Strasbourg, France).
This is a multidisciplinary project and candidates should be skilled in molecular biology; prior experience in virology, immunology or biochemistry is a plus. Written and oral communication skills in English are required.
Main Activities :
- Mosquito rearing, infection and genetic manipulations
- Virus growth, titrations, infections
- Imaging, western blotting, immunoprecipitations
- Data analysis
- Meeting reports (French/English)
- Proficiency in English at the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
