Position Overview
- Research Focus:
- Genome regulation studies to support NHGRI-funded projects
- Development of CRISPR technologies for multigenic epigenome editing
- Computational analysis of sequencing datasets
- Translational work: turning preliminary findings into manuscripts and datasets
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical and experimental research
- Develop new epigenome editing technologies and applications
- Collaborate with faculty, postdocs, and students
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate trainees
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g., Sc.D, M.D., D.V.M.)
- Evidence of completion of degree requirements is acceptable if degree not yet conferred
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Expertise in genome regulation, CRISPR technologies, and computational genomics
