Minimum Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates are required to have a PhD or an equivalent doctoral degree and experience in neuroscience and neurodegeneration. Candidate must have expertise in neuroscience, neurodegeneration, and neuroinflammation. Must be proficient in PCR, RT-PCR/qPCR, western blot, ELISA, molecular biology, primary neuronal and glial cell culture. Must have experience maintaining a mouse colony, as well as stereotactic surgery, brain dissection, immunofluorescence, fluorescence microscopy, and confocal microscopy.
