The opportunity:

This role will contribute to a consortium effort funded by the Wellcome Trust to understand the impact of climate change associated heat stress on maternal and child health. Using a combination of in vivo, in vitro, and computational approaches we are investigating how heat stress in the peri-conception period of pregnancy impacts on maternal and child health across the life-course. This post will allow the individual to contribute to one of the most pressing global challenges we currently face, whist working in a multidisciplinary team using cutting edge technologies and approaches.

The post holder will contribute to the development of new ideas, approaches, concepts or techniques, to the overall direction and management of this research project, and to publishing or otherwise disseminating the outputs of the research.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week).
