Lab & Research Focus

The Regehr Lab focuses on cerebellar neurobiology and seeks to understand neural circuits, synaptic function, and cerebellar computation. The lab values applicants who can bring new technologies or perspectives to its research program.

Preferred Technical Experience:

• Neuropixel recordings
• Whole-cell recordings in brain slice
• Optical recordings in slice or in vivo (2-photon imaging available)
• Programming and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop a mentored research project in line with lab goals
• Conduct bench research (electrophysiology, imaging, or related techniques)
• Apply for fellowship funding and contribute to grant writing
• Assist with manuscript preparation
• Teach and mentor lab members as needed
• Contribute to lab operations and collaborative environment
• Present findings in lab meetings, department seminars, and conferences

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related discipline
