Postdoctoral Fellow/Technician
The focal point of the research project is to determine the role of lipids in the aggregation of amyloidogenic proteins, including amyloid beta and Tau. Specifically, we aim to determine how lipids alter (i) rates of protein aggregation, as well as (ii) the structure and toxicity of amyloid oligomers are fibrils. We also want to understand how amyloid oligomers and fibrils exert their toxicity in cells.
