Offer Description
Activities and context: To conduct a randomized, controlled, parallel-group clinical trial to evaluate the effects of the BioMedBra Diet, combined with the MindBits application, on mental health symptoms and biochemical, inflammatory, antioxidant, and metabolic parameters, compared with conventional nutritional guidance based on the Dietary Guidelines for the Brazilian Population. Operational preparation, MindBits update and testing, REDCap setup, and research team training. Participant recruitment, screening, and baseline assessments. Randomization, participant training, and implementation of the intervention.
Mandatory requirements: PhD obtained within the past 7 years, with degree completion by January 2027. Availability to conduct the post-doctoral fellowship in person in São Paulo, Brazil. Fluency in English. Basic knowledge of statistics and willingness to learn how to conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Previous experience in clinical research projects.
Desirable requirements: Familiarity with app development and implementation. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Availability to work 40 hours per week. Proficiency in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for research and academic activities.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
