Postdoctoral Research Associate

Position Summary:

Our group synergizes the expertise of clinicians, physiologists, bioengineers, and molecular biologists in a dynamic research environment, including collaborating with other groups within the institution and at other academic facilities. Experience with basic molecular and cellular biology (protein gel electrophoresis and western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, mammalian cell culture, PCR), and fundamental lab skills (stoichiometry/basic solutions preparation for biologic experiments, pipetting, use of centrifuges) is required. Pathology and/or immunological expertise is a plus. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as with a team of investigators. The Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as with a team of investigators. This individual must have excellent writing and oral- communication skills and will maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed and outcomes. They will assist in management analysis and presentation of laboratory data and clinical data. Using this data, the candidate will assist with the preparation of manuscripts and grant applications.
