Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Computer Science Department invites applications for postdoctoral and more senior research positions in two areas of computer science.

1. Quantum computing and quantum architecture and systems.
2. Reinforcement learning algorithms, including exploration, empowerment, and multi agent coordination.

Individuals with evidence of experience in scholarly research and a strong commitment to excellence in education are encouraged to apply.

The Term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments. PhD required. This position is expected to start in January 2027.

Salary range: Postdoc Research Assoc $78,000-$90,000 and Assoc. Res Scholar $90,000-$110,000
