Postdoctoral Research Associate
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to join the Regan lab, to investigate sex differences in innate immune cell function using the Drosophila model and human clinical samples.
You will apply Drosophila functional genetics and infection studies, multiparameter flow cytometry, single cell-RNA sequencing, and high-resolution live imaging approaches to understand conserved sex dimorphisms in immune cell dynamic behaviours.
You will join the Institute for Immunology and Infection Research at the University of Edinburgh, which is a vibrant scientific community within a lively and beautiful city. The project is an exciting collaboration with colleagues in the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine, who specialize in mammalian innate immune cell function (Bénézech lab) and live imaging (Wood lab).
