- Base salary will be in the range $83,698.91 - $111,431.10 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level A)

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Academic Level A) to join the Australian Women and Girls’ Health Research (AWaGHR) Centre. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to high-impact research analysing data from the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health and the Origins and Impacts for Menstrual Disorders and Pelvic Pain Study. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to analyse complex datasets and contribute to high-quality research outputs, knowledge translation, and service activities aligned with UQ values.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse large-scale longitudinal, intergenerational and diary datasets to produce high-quality research outputs, including peer-reviewed publications, reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the development of research projects and competitive grant applications, and support knowledge translation activities to research end users.
- Assist with the supervision and development of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students, and contribute to internal service, engagement and citizenship activities within the Centre and University.

About You
- Completion or near completion of a PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience analysing longitudinal, intergenerational or quantitative diary data.
- An emerging research profile in women’s health epidemiology, with evidence of publications in refereed journals and conference presentations.
- Experience contributing to research funding applications and participating in internal service and external engagement activities.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
