storage systems. To accelerate our ambitions in this space, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop a new class of electrochemical actuators that will enable lightweight, energy-efficient, silent, compact, scalable, and inherently safe actuators for prosthetics, humanoid robots and micro-robotics.
What you will do
- Perform hands-on scientific work in the early phase: designing experiments, device fabrication and characterization, building proof of concepts, and validating key hypotheses.
- Contribute to project definition, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Present research findings to internal stakeholders, customers, project partners, and at international conferences.
- Contribute to scientific publications and technical documentation.
- Support cross-site communication and alignment between research groups and project partners.
What we do for you
We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. With your talent, passion and expertise, you’ll become part of a team that makes the impossible possible. Together, we shape the technology that will determine the society of tomorrow.
We are committed to being an inclusive employer and proud of our open, multicultural, and informal working environment with ample possibilities to take initiative and show responsibility. We commit to supporting and guiding you in this process; not only with words but also with tangible actions.
