Postdoctoral Scholars - Advanced Power and Energy Program at The Henry Samueli School of Engineering
The Advanced Power and Energy Program (APEP) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions from the basic science of energy (e.g., electrochemistry, combustion kinetics) to applied energy research (e.g., fuel cells, gas turbines, smart grids).
These positions require a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and/or Aerospace Engineering.
Initial appointments are for two years, and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual's postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
Basic qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or a related field from an accredited University.
