Trustees, the President will provide mission-centered, faith-informed leadership, advancing Trocaire’s strategic vision while ensuring the College’s long-term vitality through collaboration, innovation, and deep engagement with campus and community stakeholders.
Trocaire is a private, career-oriented Catholic college that empowers students with the resources and supportive environment needed to achieve their academic goals. Trocaire is one of 17 Sisters of Mercy-sponsored colleges and universities and one of the few primarily two-year degree-granting Catholic colleges in the United States. The core mission is to allow each person to be a valuable contributor to the workforce needs of the community. Trocaire offers bachelor’s, associate, and certificate programs, as well as workforce development programs in healthcare, veterinary sciences, business, and technology. Trocaire ranks in the top one-quarter of colleges and universities for return on investment by Georgetown University and is designated as an Opportunity College and University by the Carnegie Classifications with a Higher Access, Higher Earnings classification.
The College seeks an accomplished, mission-driven leader to guide the institution through an important period of opportunity and transformation. The next President will possess the strategic vision, financial acumen, and decisive leadership necessary to strengthen the College's long-term sustainability while advancing enrollment growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and enhancing organizational capacity. As the visible face of the institution throughout Western New York, the President will be an effective storyteller and ambassador who elevates the College's visibility, communicates its distinctive value and transformative impact, inspires confidence among internal and external stakeholders, and secures the resources necessary to ensure that future generations of students continue to benefit from a Trocaire education. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking leader who embraces innovation while remaining grounded in the College's Catholic and Mercy mission.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with level of experience. The anticipated salary range for this role is $325,000 - $350,000, including executive compensation and a generous benefits package. This is an on-campus position.
